Così fu generato Gesù Cristo: sua madre Maria, essendo promessa sposa di Giuseppe, prima che andassero a vivere insieme si trovò incinta per opera dello Spirito Santo. Giuseppe suo sposo, poiché era uomo giusto e non voleva accusarla pubblicamente, pensò di ripudiarla in segreto. Mentre però stava considerando queste cose, ecco, gli apparve in sogno un angelo del Signore e gli disse: «Giuseppe, figlio di Davide, non temere di prendere con te Maria, tua sposa. Infatti il bambino che è generato in lei viene dallo Spirito Santo; ella darà alla luce un figlio e tu lo chiamerai Gesù: egli infatti salverà il suo popolo dai suoi peccati». Tutto questo è avvenuto perché si compisse ciò che era stato detto dal Signore per mezzo del profeta: «Ecco, la vergine concepirà e darà alla luce un figlio: a lui sarà dato il nome di Emmanuele», che significa Dio con noi.
RIFLESSIONE DI LELLA
PREGHIERA: Vieni Spirito Santo di Dio ,illuminami, fa che io possa riconoscermi in questa famiglia, in questa stirpe ,come Figlia Di Dio.
La genealogia di Gesù, è riportata in due versioni nei Vangeli, quella di Matteo e quella di Luca, abbastanza dissimili tra loro, per vari motivi, ma questa è la parte che interessa gli studiosi teologi, o quelli che amano spaccare il capello in quattro. Ma la fede in Gesù Cristo segna la fine di tutte le diatribe possibili, riunisce tutto i popoli della terra, ci rende tutti figli di Dio. Nasce dalla famiglia di Davide, è vero, ma nella sua storia terrena manda i suoi discepoli ad ammaestrare i popoli di tutta la terra, è il primo grande eroe dell’unità, in un mondo che non sa far altro che dividersi, Lui rivoluziona tutto e ci dice che pur essendo diversi, di etnie ,razze, popoli, colori, tutti siamo figli dello stesso Dio, fratelli in Cristo. Non serve sapere altro, ma vivere questo è secondo me, già sufficiente per entrare a far parte di questo benedetto Regno di Dio. Una famiglia è unita da legami di sangue, d’ amore e, se solo pensassimo ogni giorno, prima di adirarci con un nostro fratello, che in lui scorre lo stesso dna di figlio di Dio, forse potremmo pian piano, riuscire a vivere in pace e letizia. Se non riusciamo a farlo, se comunque odio, rancore e indifferenza la fanno da padroni nel nostro cuore, pensiamo bene, che forse, non viviamo solo come orfani di Dio Padre, ma che viviamo come figli adottivi di satana, e convertiamoci. Impariamo fratelli, con l' aiuto del Signore, che dobbiamo invocare continuamente, ad odiare la divisione e non i nostri nemici; ad odiare il peccato e non i peccatori.

Oggi la genealogia di Gesù, il Salvatore che doveva nascere da Maria, ci mostra come l’opera di Dio si inserisce nella storia umana e come Dio, attua nel segreto e nel silenzio di ogni giorno. Allo stesso tempo vediamo la sua serietà nel compiere le sue promesse. Incluso Rut e Racab (cf. Mt 1,5) straniere convertite alla fede nell’unico Dio (e Racab, era una prostituta!), sono antenati del Salvatore.
Lo Spirito Santo, che doveva realizzare in Maria l’incarnazione del Figlio, penetrò, quindi, nella nostra storia già da molto lontano, e da molto presto, tracciando una rotta fino ad arrivare a Maria di Nazaret, è attraverso di Lei a suo figlio Gesù. «Ecco, la vergine concepirà e partorirà un figlio che sarà chiamato Emmanuele» (Mt 1,23). Quanto delicate spiritualmente dovevano essere le viscere di Maria, il suo cuore e la sua volontà, fino al punto di attirare l’attenzione di suo Padre e convertirla in Madre del “Dio-con-gli-uomini’’!. Egli che doveva portare la luce e la grazia soprannaturale per la salvezza di tutti. Tutto in questa opera ci porta a contemplare la grandezza, la generosità e la semplicità dell’azione divina, che innalza e riscatta la nostra stirpe umana, implicandosi in maniera personale.
Inoltre nel Vangelo di oggi, possiamo osservare come fu notificato a Maria che avrebbe concepito Dio, il Salvatore del popolo. E pensare che questa donna, Vergine e madre di Gesù, doveva essere allo stesso tempo nostra madre. Questa speciale scelta di Maria —«benedetta tu fra le donne» (Lc 1,42)— ci fa apprezzare la tenerezza di Dio nel suo modo di procedere, perché non ci riscattò —per così dire— “a distanza’’, vincolandosi invece personalmente con la nostra famiglia e la nostra storia. Chi poteva immaginare che Dio sarebbe stato allo stesso tempo così grande e così accondiscendente, avvicinandosi intimamente a noi.

Today, Jesus' genealogy, the Saviour that had to come and be born of Mary, shows us how the work of God is interwoven into human history, and how God acts in the secret and silence of every single day. At the same time, we can see his reliability to accomplish his promises. Even Ruth and Rahab (cf. Mt 1:5), foreigners, converted to the faith of the only God (and Rahab was a harlot!), were our Saviour's ancestors.
The Holy Spirit, that mysteriously had to incarnate the Son in Mary, entered, therefore, in our history since a long time before, and traced a path leading to the Virgin Mary of Nazareth and, through her, to her Son Jesus. «The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and He will be called Emmanuel» (Mt 1:23). How spiritually delicate Mary's entrails, her heart and her will, must have been, to engage the attention of the Father and make her become the mother of “God-with-mankind”, He, who had to bring us the supernatural light and grace for the redemption of all of us. In this work, everything bring us to contemplate, admire and worship, through prayer, the greatness, the generosity and the simplicity of the divine action, that will extol and rescue our human lineage through our Lord’s personal involvement.
Further away, in Today's Gospel, we see how Mary was advised she would conceive God, the Saviour of his People. And let us realize that this girl, virgin and Jesus' mother, had to be also our mother. The special election of Mary, «Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!» (Lk 1:42), makes us to admire God's tenderness in his way of proceeding; because He did not redeem us —so to speak— “by remote control”, but by closely binding himself with our family and our history. Who could ever imagine God to be so great and so simple as to so intimately bind himself to us?

EliminaORACIÓN: Ven Espíritu Santo de Dios, ilumina, es que puedo reconocerme en esta familia, en esta carrera, como hija de Dios.
La genealogía de Jesús se da en dos versiones en los Evangelios, el de Mateo y el de Lucas, muy diferentes unas de otras, por diversas razones, pero esta es la parte que interesa a los eruditos teólogos, o los que gustan de hilar fino . Pero la fe en Jesucristo marca el final de todas las controversias posibles, reúne a todos los pueblos de la tierra, nos hace hijos de Dios. Nacido de la familia de David, es cierto, pero en su historia terrena envía a sus discípulos a enseñar a los pueblos de toda la tierra, es el primer gran héroe de la unidad, en un mundo que no sabe cómo hacerlo es dividir, Él lo cambia todo y nos dice que a pesar de los diferentes grupos étnicos, razas, naciones, colores, todos somos hijos del mismo Dios, hermanos y hermanas en Cristo. Usted no necesita saber nada más, pero en mi experiencia esto ya es suficiente para convertirse en una parte de este reino bendito de Dios. Una familia está unida por lazos de sangre y amor, y si sólo pensamos todos los días, antes de enojarse con nuestro hermano, que corre el mismo ADN que un hijo de Dios, tal vez podríamos lentamente poder vivir en paz y alegría. Si no somos capaces de hacerlo, sin embargo, si el odio, el resentimiento y la indiferencia son los amos en nuestros corazones, pensar en ello, que tal vez, sólo que no viven como huérfanos de Dios el Padre, pero vivimos como hijos adoptivos de Satanás, y convertiamoci. Aprendemos hermanos, con la ayuda del Señor, debemos invocar continuamente, a odiar a la división y no a nuestros enemigos; a odiar el pecado y no al pecador.

Hoy, la genealogía de Jesús, el Salvador que tenía que venir y nacer de María, nos muestra cómo la obra de Dios está entretejida en la historia humana, y cómo Dios actúa en el secreto y en el silencio de cada día. Al mismo tiempo, vemos su seriedad en cumplir sus promesas. Incluso Rut y Rahab (cf. Mt 1,5), extranjeras convertidas a la fe en el único Dios (¡y Rahab era una prostituta!), son antepasados del Salvador.
El Espíritu Santo, que había de realizar en María la encarnación del Hijo, penetró, pues, en nuestra historia desde muy lejos, desde muy pronto, y trazó una ruta hasta llegar a María de Nazaret y, a través de Ella, a su hijo Jesús. «He aquí que la virgen concebirá y dará a luz un hijo, y le pondrán por nombre Emmanuel» (Mt 1,23). ¡Cuán espiritualmente delicadas debían ser las entrañas de María, su corazón y su voluntad, hasta el punto de atraer la atención del Padre y convertirla en madre del “Dios-con-los-hombres”!, Él que tenía que llevar la luz y la gracia sobrenaturales para la salvación de todos. Todo, en esta obra, nos lleva a contemplar, admirar y adorar, en la oración, la grandeza, la generosidad y la sencillez de la acción divina, que enaltece y rescatará nuestra estirpe humana implicándose de una manera personal.
Más allá, en el Evangelio de hoy, vemos cómo fue notificado a María que traería a Dios, el Salvador del Pueblo. Y pensemos que esta mujer, virgen y madre de Jesús, tenía que ser a la vez nuestra madre. Esta especial elección de María —«bendita entre todas las mujeres» (Lc 1,42)— hace que nos admiremos de la ternura de Dios en su manera de proceder; porque no nos redimió —por así decirlo— “a distancia”, sino vinculándose personalmente con nuestra familia y nuestra historia. ¿Quién podía imaginar que Dios iba a ser al mismo tiempo tan grande y tan condescendiente, acercándose íntimamente a nosotros?

EliminaPRIERE: Viens Saint Esprit de Dieu, éclaire-moi, fait que je puisse me reconnaître dans cette famille dans cette souche comme Fille(fils) De Dieu.
La généalogie de Jésus est reportée en deux versions dans les Évangiles, celle de Mathieu et celle de Luc, assez différents entre elles, pour des motifs différents, mais ceci est la partie qui intéresse les spécialistes théologiens ou ceux qui aiment fendre le cheveu en quatre. Mais la foi en Jésus Christ marque la fin de toutes les diatribes possibles, il réunit tous les peuples de la terre, il nous rend tous fils de Dieu.
Il est issus de la famille de David, c'est vrai, mais dans son histoire terrestre il envoie ses disciples pour dresser les peuples de toute la terre, c'est le premier grand héros de l'unité, dans un monde qui ne sait rien faire d'autre que de se diviser, Il révolutionne tout et il nous dit que même en étant différents, d'ethnie, de races, de peuples, de couleurs, tous nous sommes fils du même Dieu, frères en Christ. Cela ne sert à rien de savoir autre chose, mais vivre cela est selon moi, déjà suffisant pour entrer faire partie de ce Royaume bénit de Dieu.
Une famille est unie par liens du sang, d'amour et, si seulement nous pensions chaque jour, avant de nous fâcher avec notre frère, qu'en lui le même ADN de fils de Dieu coule, nous pourrions peut-être tout doucement, réussir à vivre en paix et dans la joie. Si nous ne réussissons pas à le faire, si la haine, la rancune et l'indifférence se font de toute façon maitres dans notre coeur, pensons bien, que nous ne vivons pas seulement comme orphelins de Dieu le Père, mais que nous vivons comme des enfants adoptifs de satan, donc convertissons-nous. Apprenons mes frères, avec l'aide du Seigneur que nous devons continuellement à haïr la division et non nos ennemis; haïr le péché et non les pécheurs.

Aujourd'hui, l'arbre généalogique de Jésus, le Sauveur qui devait être mis au monde par Marie, nous illustre comment l'œuvre de Dieu est entrelacée avec l'histoire de l'humanité, et comment Dieu agit dans le secret et dans le silence de chaque jour. En même temps nous constatons qu'Il est formel dans l'accomplissement de ses promesses. Même Ruth et Rahab (cf. Mt 1,5) étrangères converties à la foi du Dieu unique (et Rahab était une prostituée!) sont des ancêtres du Seigneur.
Le Saint Esprit, qui devait accomplir en Marie l'Incarnation du Fils, a pénétré dans notre histoire depuis bien loin, depuis très tôt, et Il a tracé la route qui mène à Marie de Nazareth, et grâce à Elle à son Fils Jésus. «Voici que la Vierge concevra et elle mettra au monde un fils, auquel on donnera le nom d'Emmanuel» (Mt 1,23). Comme les entrailles, le cœur et la volonté de Marie devaient être spirituellement délicates pour attirer l'attention du Père et la choisir comme Mère de Dieu-avec-les-hommes, Lui qui devait porter la lumière et la grâce surnaturelles pour le salut de tous. Tout dans cette œuvre nous amène à contempler, admirer et adorer dans l'oraison, la grandeur, la générosité et la simplicité de l'action divine, qui exalte et rachètera notre souche humaine en s'impliquant Lui-même de manière personnelle.
Plus loin dans l'Évangile de ce jour, nous voyons comment fut envoyé à Marie le message qu'elle porterait le Sauveur du Monde. Et pensons que cette femme, vierge et mère de Jésus, serait en même temps notre mère. Ce choix spécial de Marie —«Bénie entre toutes les femmes» (Lc 1,42) fait que nous soyons dans l'admiration de cette tendresse du Seigneur envers nous dans sa façon de procéder car Il ne nous a pas sauvé “à distance” mais en traçant un lien très personnel avec notre famille humaine et notre histoire. Qui aurait imaginé que Dieu pourrait être si grand et en même temps si condescendant en se rapprochant intimement de nous?
