PRAYER
I pray the Lord to blow on me...MY REFLECTION
PRAYER
I pray the Lord to blow on me your Spirit to give me more knowledge of your will that must and want to do and for which I ask you all the help you need.
We note that in seeing Jesus' disciples rejoice in disbelief.
We begin by noting that it is evening, as if to indicate that the sun was down, the hope is to leave the place at night, in the dark.
The doors were locked for fear of the Jews, and we know that fear often prevents to reason, to see, to walk; Fear stops us and makes us helpless.
For fear Peter had denied him, others had fled ... only John was left beside Mary in that pain. Yet Jesus did not rebuke them for this, shows the wounds to show him who is he, what was up on the cross, and conquered death.
It is normal that someone has doubts, Thomas, who was not present, still stunned, disbelieving, but disponoibile to change his mind.
Our humanity leads us to believe only what we can see, although with Jesus now we understand that is not enough. He performed miracles before them, entered into a house with the doors closed, but is He? Nothing can divide us, because his love drives him to seek us and always give us all of himself, as he does with the apostles, which gives the Holy Spirit.
Who has the experience of Jesus in his life, he has no doubts, and do not need to see it physically or not, and precisely because he trusts his word, he can feel his action through the Holy Spirit. In pain often feel destroyed both physically and morally, but when we ask the Lord for help, we see that we are immediately relieved from most excruciating pain, despair.
It is important to stay close to those who suffer, for one reason or the other, because we can be the word that Jesus wants to say, the hand of Jesus that caress knows, we may be the testimony that Jesus did not abandon his children, because they follow the Lord is to love our neighbor as God loves us.
Love is the word of order to enter the heavenly family, and to return to the Father's house, where Jesus has gone to prepare a place.Mingardi Lellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02564428342953126329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9021601257307259441.post-89103790995287899322015-04-11T11:08:59.865-07:002015-04-11T11:08:59.865-07:00MI REFLEJO
Mingardi Lellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02564428342953126329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9021601257307259441.post-83458912010797792842015-04-11T10:35:30.860-07:002015-04-11T10:35:30.860-07:00VERSIONE IN INGLESE DI DOMENICA 12 APRILE
Liturgic...VERSIONE IN INGLESE DI DOMENICA 12 APRILE
Liturgic day: Sunday 2nd (A) (B) (C) of Easter
Gospel text (Jn 20,19-31): On the evening of that day, the first day after the Sabbath, the doors were locked where the disciples were, because of their fear of the Jews, but Jesus came and stood in their midst. He said to them, «Peace be with you»; then He showed them his hands and his side. The disciples kept looking at the Lord and were full of joy. Again Jesus said to them, «Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you». After saying this He breathed on them and said to them, «Receive the Holy Spirit; for those whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven; for those whose sins you retain, they are retained».

Thomas, the Twin, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples told him, «We have seen the Lord». But he replied, «Until I have seen in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe».

Eight days later, the disciples were inside again and Thomas was with them. Despite the locked doors Jesus came and stood in their midst and said, «Peace be with you». Then He said to Thomas, «Put your finger here and see my hands; stretch out your hand and put it into my side. Resist no longer and be a believer». Thomas then said, «You are my Lord and my God». Jesus replied, «You believe because you see me, don't you? Happy are those who have not seen and believe».

There were many other signs that Jesus gave in the presence of his disciples, but they are not recorded in this book. These are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; believe and you will have life through his Name.Mingardi Lellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02564428342953126329noreply@blogger.com
