O Saint Esprit, ...REFLEXION DE LELLA.

No one had asked for help to feed the hungry people, but they had thought to ask him to send them back home. Also we sometimes want to tell Jesus what to do instead of entrusting to him the things of our lives. Jesus knows that they are not ready yet, but that should make him understand concretely, because just because they had witnessed a miracle had already been exalted and mounted his head.
Then he sends them forward, by boat, to the other side and Leaving the crowd goes to pray, think, Jesus feels the need to pray and thank the Father, and from the story of the disciples shows that nobody thanked him for what he had done.
At one point the waters are stirred and the disciples are afraid of sinking, is a symbol of the dark night of the heart in which fear increases, and after having tried a little, Jesus went unto them, walking on the water.
Imagine the scene, and suddenly it dawns just the disciples see Jesus walking towards them, even this is enough, do not fail to recognize in their hearts to Jesus asks Peter absurd: - if it is you bid me come -it-yourself ... how many people walked on the water?
We admit that it could be a just prudence? Unfortunately not, and makes us understand the following line, the strong wind and the cows no longer trust Jesus, he is afraid of sinking, and nearly sinking; Jesus is there in front of him and he is unable to let go and trust completely, but he has a tendency towards him his hand and rescues; then climbs into the boat and the waters subside.
In this passage there are so many lessons that the only thing I would add is that Peter, who will be head of the church, try to be guided, to follow Jesus, but he is a man, and sometimes humanity prevails in him.
What we all too often forget is that we have to rely completely on God, we must have the courage to challenge even our fears, because in our lives, whatever the storm that assails us, Jesus is before us, with us and in us. - Take up your cross and follow me-Jesus said, do not take up your cross and go, but follow me; I will be with you.
t is not easy, Lord, if Peter who is better than we did wrong, we certainly it wrong so many times, but you do not leave you tend to sink and also towards us your hand and leads us to safety.Mingardi Lellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02564428342953126329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9021601257307259441.post-25651899519445734562016-08-01T08:43:00.064-07:002016-08-01T08:43:00.064-07:00VERSIONE IN INGLESE DI MARTEDì 2 AGOSTO2016

Peter answered, «Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you walking on the water». Jesus said to him, «Come». And Peter got out of the boat, walking on the water to go to Jesus. But, in face of the strong wind, he was afraid and began to sink. So he cried out, «Lord, save me!». Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and took hold of him, saying, «Man of little faith, why did you doubt?». As they got into the boat, the wind dropped. Then those in the boat bowed down before Jesus saying, «Truly, you are the Son of God!».
They came ashore at Gennesareth.
