    PRAYER
Come Holy Spirit Come, Spirit of the Council and of the Fortress, and make us courageous witnesses of the Gospel received. Support the persecuted; encourages the marginalized; gives strength to those who are imprisoned; grant perseverance to those who are trampled and tortured; get the palm of victory to those who, even today, is led to martyrdom.

Many seek signs ... many have more confusion in the head on religion than on more complicated material.
Because the man tends to want to explain, to want to understand ... but God does not follow our logic.
In this passage, Jesus returns to let us squeeze the brain saying that no one is greater than John among men, but that is nothing equal to the size of those in the kingdom of heaven ......Then who is bigger, who is smaller? No need puzzling, just remember that the apostles were trying to figure out, but they could not, because despite being close to the Lord, they continued to think with human logic. Among them were educated and ignorant, but neither one nor the other, could not understand what he said Jesus to them, and were even afraid to question, perhaps not to seem ignorant and not lose esteem in the eyes of Jesus.
But to follow Jesus, we do not want to logic, to understand how can the last be first, he just let go, cancel themselves recognizing that we are not absolutely nothing unless He fills us with wisdom, ask for a gift, remembering that we are not we the wise, but it is the wisdom of God.
John is the greatest among men, but the biggest meeting that we can do is with Jesus, and with Jesus we'll finally the kingdom of heaven already 'on this earth
Jesus knows that the heart of man is hard, that nothing succeeds acceptable, when you do not want and that are useless words of the prophets, if the listener does not want to receive the message.
The mission of John, is well defined since its birth, the miracle of God she was born in Elizabeth, now elderly and remember that the baby leaped in the belly of the mother, to recognize the Lord in the womb of Mary. In this passage, it seems that Jesus is giving a review of John, but not so in my opinion, is putting instead show how everything will be different after his death on the cross, after which you will pass from the old to the new testament, because the Baptist prophet announces his coming, but with his death on the cross that Jesus will change things, because it is in dying that sprout forgiveness for all the children of God.
Contrary to what John also thought, Jesus is not to punish, but to redeem; not to condemn but to save.
John announced the Messiah, but escaped the deepest mystery of his doctrine, of his teaching.
Jesus announces that we are all children of God, the same Father, and therefore brothers. This is what makes the difference between the old and the new, and that makes all equally important in the eyes of God.

  3. VERSIONE IN FRANSESE DI GIOVEDI 11 DICEMBRE Évangile de Jésus Christ selon saint Matthieu 11,11-15.
